Norwegian small town politics is comedy gold

Politicians fall into the cobra effect trap once again:

"The mayor cheered the shutdown of the controversial Bitcoin mining data center, but now residents are facing an unexpected consequence: a hefty bill increase."

Locals will now have to pay an extra $200-$300 per year due to increased costs to grid fees without the big mining customer, and the mayor of this remote municipality comments: 

"We work continuously to facilitate the industrial activity we want in the municipality. It may not be something we can solve in just one month, but we are dedicated to promoting business development every single day." (Which is political jargon for: it will likely never happen.)

The "celebration" ended the moment they got their first bill - You can't make this up.

Ipad kopen, wat zijn de beste opties?

Mijn huidige ipad Air 3e generatie is uit 2019 en heeft maar 64GB opslagruimte. Dat is anno 2024 krap aan het worden, en hij is bovendien 5/6 jaar oud nu.

Ik beschouw alles dat niet minimaal een M1 processor heeft als "te oud". Verder wil ik minimaal 128 GB opslag en 5G.

Wat zijn nu 1 september 2024 mijn opties?

Een refurbished model Air of Pro met een M2 is natuurlijk ideaal kwa prijs (er gaat tot €400 van de originele prijs af) maar deze zijn zeer sporadisch te vinden.

De gewone M1 iPad Air uit 2022 is daarentegen standaard te vinden voor een redelijke prijs/kwaliteit verhouding 😊.

Ik heb deze blogpost daar nu op afgemaakt trouwens, nadat ik heb begon te typen op mijn iPad Air 3e generatie.
